COLLABORATING SINCE 2010
Little Dresses for Africa – LDFA is Christian based non-profit organization whose mission is to provide relief to vulnerable children throughout the continent of Africa and abroad. Volunteers from all over the world support by making little dresses out of pillow cases or other simple patterns. LDFA sends the donated dresses through missions teams, mails them directly to verified communities and takes them personally with their short term teams. To date LDFA has delivered millions of dresses and shorts to children around the world and their efforts don't end there. They’ve taken on a very active and committed role in assisting with the betterment of the communities these children reside in by building wells, housing, and providing educational resources.
Gwen has collaborated with LDFA on various projects since 2010. In 2015 Gwen Beloti organized the project - 100 Dresses for LDFA now in its fourth year. Gwen alongside student and adult volunteers from across NYC each year make and design 100 dresses, to date having donated over 400 plus dresses.

“A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.” - Steve Maraboli
Fashionably Smart, Literally™ is a Gwen Beloti Collection initiative founded in 2009 with the purpose of encouraging young women to celebrate their intelligence and reward them for doing so. Gwen Beloti teams up with an accredited high school and works with a select group of girls. Gwen has the opportunity to work with the girls on various projects and share with them her personal experiences with education, fashion, and entrepreneurship. The goal is to encourage young women to continue to strive for excellence, to be proud of their achievements and to know that they can be fashionable, cool and confident while doing so. The FSL™ girls through their monthly projects play an integral role in assisting with the facilitation of our other community initiatives. Prom Dress to Impress™ - the girls help with the selection of the prom dress drive organization that we team up with and assist with the design and construction of the dress. They also make little girl dresses in support of Little Dresses for Africa.
“Your hard work will not go unnoticed, your achievements and effort are worthy of celebration.”
